Finish preparation before the appointment
Photography time is most useful when the home is ready to capture. Coordinate cleaning, staging and access in advance rather than expecting major rearrangement during the appointment. Share any areas that must not be photographed before the shoot begins.
Inside the property
Review each room from the doorway and consider what will appear in the frame. Remove temporary items while preserving an accurate presentation of the property.
- Clear kitchen and bathroom counters of loose personal items.
- Make beds, straighten seating and tidy visible storage.
- Remove private documents and personal information from view.
- Check lighting and replace visibly mismatched or failed bulbs where practical.
- Arrange pets and occupants so agreed spaces are accessible.
Outside and access
Prepare the entrance and any outdoor spaces included in the brief. If twilight is booked, check exterior, pool and landscape lighting in advance. For aerial capture, provide the exact address and any known site restrictions.
- Move bins, hoses and temporary equipment out of the planned views.
- Arrange vehicle placement for the requested exterior angles.
- Confirm keys, gate access, parking and a day-of contact.
- Tell the team about occupied units or inaccessible rooms.
Before the final confirmation
Send your priority features, selected services and listing launch date. Ask how much appointment time to allow and what happens if the property is not ready. More Than Vision's property readiness, rescheduling and additional visit policies are confirmed with the team before booking.
After delivery, review the agreed files, orientations and any tour links before publishing. A brief prepared early gives everyone a clearer expectation of the finished media.
